Experienced Stone Installer

Job description:

We are a well-established, family-run manufacturer / fabricator company in Burnaby (near Brentwood Mall) known for the excellence of our workmanship and installations, looking for a full-time Stone Installer for long-term commitment. “Stone Installer” is responsible for transporting, measuring, and installing stone surfaces in residential and commercial settings, ensuring precise fit, safety, and a high-quality finish.

The hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. Must be reliable and responsible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install stone slabs for countertops, floors, walls, and other surfaces
• Transport and handle stone safely to prevent damage
• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and installation plans
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure installation
• Apply adhesives, sealants, and finishing touches as required
• Perform on-site quality inspections and troubleshoot installation issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at job sites
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in stone installation or construction
• Knowledge of stone materials and installation techniques
• Ability to lift heavy slabs and work in physically demanding environments
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used for stone installation

Required:

• Must wear steel toed boots
• Respirators
• A valid Driver’s License
• Must be a Canadian resident

• At least 2 years of experience is necessary; must be physically capable and willing to handle very heavy lifting
